CALLING ALL...STAFFIES
This month, I'm looking for Staffordshire Bull Terriers to take part in my Breed of the Month Project.
Selected applicants will receive a complimentary photography session plus £300 credit towards custom artwork on orders of £950 or more.
Artwork is purchased separately. Individual artwork begins from £350 and collections from £1,195.
So...why am I doing this?
After more than 13 years photographing dogs, you might think I'd have met just about every breed there is. Not even close.
I recently met a Japanese Chin - a dog I'd never heard of before, let along photographed! It was such a lovely reminder of just how wonderfully diverse the world of dogs really is, and how much each human adores their breed of choice.
That's what inspired the Breed of the Month Project.
Every month, I'll choose one breed I'd love to photograph and invite their humans to apply to take part. Sometimes it'll be a breed I've never photographed before. Sometimes it'll be one I've always wanted to spend more time with. And sometimes it'll simply be because I think they're wonderful.
Because every breed has something different to celebrate.
But more than that, it's a chance to create meaningful artwork for the humans who love them.
This Month's Breed | Staffies
I've photographed surprisingly few Staffies over the years, which is something I'd very much like to change!
I've always had a real soft spot for the breed, so they seemed like the perfect choice to kick off my Breed of the Month Project.
This month, I'd love to meet some of the characters behind those unmistakable Staffie smiles and create photographs that celebrate them as the individuals they are.
Whether your Staffie is young or old, wonderfully well behaved or has ideas entirely of their own, I'd love to hear all about them.
What happens if you're selected?
1. We'll have a chat
I'll give you a call to talk about your application, get to know you and your dog, and answer any questions you might have.
If we're both happy to go ahead, we'll arrange a date for your session.
2. Enjoy your photography session
Whether we're exploring the coast, heading into the countryside or creating something colourful in the studio, the session will always be tailored to your dog.
No stiff poses, no pressure.
Just a relaxed experience designed around their personality.
3. Choose your favourites
After your session, we'll arrange your viewing appointment where you'll see your photographs for the first time.
This is where you'll choose your favourite images and decide how you'd love to enjoy them in your home.
4. Your artwork is created
Once you've made your choices, your artwork will be handcrafted by professional labs and carefully prepared before being delivered ready to enjoy for years to come.
As part of the Breed of the Month Project, selected applicants will receive:
✔ Complimentary photography session
✔ £300 credit towards custom artwork on orders of £950 or more
✔ A bespoke photography experience designed around your dog
A little note about artwork
One of the things that's really important to me is being completely transparent about how the Breed of the Month Project works, so that you know exactly what to expect before you apply.
If you're selected, your photography session will be completely complimentary as part of the project.
After your session, you'll be invited back to enjoy your viewing appointment, where you'll see your photographs for the very first time and choose any artwork you'd love to take home.
As part of the Breed of the Month Project, you'll also receive £300 credit towards custom artwork on orders of £950 or more.
There is no minimum spend and no obligation to reach the £950 qualifying amount.
Individual pieces of artwork begin at £350, and you're completely free to choose the artwork you love.
If you decide to invest £950 or more, your £300 Breed of the Month credit will be applied to your artwork order — meaning a £950 order would be reduced to £650.
Whether you fall in love with one piece or decide you'd like a collection of your favourite photographs, the choice is entirely yours.
What Happens if You're Shortlisted:
If your application is shortlisted, I'll get in touch for a chat about your dog, the project and the artwork options. It's a chance for us to get to know each other a little better, answer any questions you may have, and talk through the artwork options so there are no surprises before either of us commits to the project.
If you're selected and decide to take part, a £55 booking retainer will be required to secure your session date. Your retainer will be deducted in full from any artwork you purchase at your viewing appointment, so it isn't an additional cost. The booking retainer is non-refundable.
My aim is for you to feel excited about your session, confident in your choices and completely comfortable knowing exactly what to expect from the very beginning.
Photography like this is about so much more than creating beautiful images. It's about capturing the personality, character and little moments that make your dog completely unique, then turning those memories into artwork you'll enjoy every day for years to come.

- Completing an application doesn't guarantee selection.
- Selected applicants will receive a complimentary photography session and £300 credit towards custom artwork on orders of £950 or more.
- Individual artwork begins at £350, with collections from £1,195.
- If selected, we'll arrange a phone call before confirming your session.
- If selected, a non-refundble £55 booking retainer will be required to secure your session date. Your retainer will be deducted in full from any artwork you purchase.
- Sessions will take place within 6 months of your selection as a successful applicant.
- By applying, you're confirming you're happy for me to contact you about your application.
